Hello, Hero Arts fans! Welcome back for another episode of the Color Layering video series! In this video and episode, we are taking a closer look at the Color Layering Moth stamp set. Watch the video tutorial below to learn how I made the card I'm sharing today. If you’re having a problem viewing this video, please try watching it HERE in HD on YouTube....

Today's card features the Sunburst Fancy Die, which is a unique die that creates cuts lines in a sunburst pattern to add texture and interest to your cards. I started out by cutting a 3.5" square piece of Bristol Smooth paper to do my stamping and ink blending on. First, I stamped the earth image from the You Are Loved Messages set with black ink....

Hi everyone, Ilina here! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend (if you are in the US) and are feeling refreshed. Today I am sharing with you a card using a few stamps "From the Vault" and simple masking technique. To make the card I started with a piece of Dove White card stock. I stamped the From the Vault Real Poppy using Strawberry and...

Hi, Friends! It's Caly and I'm here to share a simple watercolor card with you using the Flower Garden Bold Prints stamp and the Thanks Message Fancy Die. To create my card, I stamped the Flower Garden Bold Prints stamp on some Bristol Smooth cardstock using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. I simply watercolored the images using Arteza Watercolor Brush Pens (very similar to Zig Clean...

Hello to you on this fine Monday! Janette here today to share a video on creating floral borders with the Beautiful Day Agapanthus clear stamp set on the new Hero Hues Pebble cardstock. The floral elements colored very simply create drama when repeated along either side of the card. The video below shows exactly how I went about that. Join me! If you have any...

Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share using the new Arch Pattern Bold Prints which was released as an add-on product for the February 2019 My Monthly Hero Kit. This background stamp has so many possibilities on ways to use it but I love tone-on-tone stamping, so used that for my card today. I started off by taking a panel...

Hello! It's Caly here today sharing a card made using this month's add-ons! I'm using the Vintage Window Fancy Die along with the Deco-rations stamp set to create the scene on today's card. I was going for a stained-glass feel and did some embossing to achieve this, so let's dive right in! To begin, I stamped the images using Intense Black ink and colored them...

For today's card I've decided to carry over some holiday sparkle to a post-holiday thank you card with the help of Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. The shimmer and shine you get from this embossing powder is incredible! So incredible that I ended using it three different times on my card. First, I stamped a background with VersaMark ink using the Henna Flower Pattern stamp and...

Hello there, Michelle here and I am back to share a thank you card with you, using the beautiful Mandala Bold Prints, along with a few different shades of blue and green ink. I created a video tutorial for you which you can view below: (If you have problems watching the video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube) I started off by stamping the...

The Season of Wonder Catalog is filled with so many great stamps that are perfect for your holiday cards. But if you look closely, you will find quite a few stamps that can be used year round for any occasion, like the Sugar and Spice Bold Prints that I use on my card today. The first thing I did was ink up the background stamp...

My favorite season, Fall, is soon approaching and the leaves on the trees are beginning to change into gorgeous shades of orange, yellow and red. Today's card is inspired by this beautiful season that goes by way too fast in my opinion. I decided to build my card on a white tag that I die cut from the Tag Infinity Dies. I added some texture...

Today's card features the gorgeous floral images in the You're Beautiful stamp set. The flowers nestle together perfectly to create a solid floral background. I began by die cutting the largest heart in the Nesting Heart Infinity Dies from white cardstock. I knew I wanted to include some gold embossed flowers, so I started with those. I heat embossed them with the Gold Glitter Embossing...

As part of this month's My Monthly Hero add-ons, Hero Arts is now offering Cups & Handles Infinity Dies and Teapots & Handles Infinity Dies. The new handle addition makes it super easy to die-cut the cups and teapots with or without handles! For my cards today, I used the Cups & Handles Infinity Dies, just using a piece of washi tape to keep the...

Good morning! Emily Midgett here today with some inspiration using our new Art Deco Thank You kit! For my project today, I did some sleuthing on Pinterest to discover color combinations and general style aesthetics for the Art Deco period. I discovered lots of bold jewel tones mixed with deep black. I drew inspiration from the peacock itself, recreating it's beautiful teal, purple, and blue...

Hi everyone! Ilina here today with a couple of cards using the new Art Deco Thank You Kit. To create the cards you will need the kit, along with a few other supplies, such as Snow, Black and Pool layering papers and note cards, Versamark ink pad, some pencils and blue gemstones. Watch the video below to see how these two cards were made, or...

There are two cards that I seem to always need - birthday and thank you cards. Because I'm always needing them, sometimes it's in a bit of time pinch, so I love having quick and easy designs on hand. For today's two quick cards, I used the Tree and Leaf Confetti Die as a stencil. For the first card, I die cut it simply out...

Hey there, and happy Monday! Today I'm sharing two quick watercolored cards using the Welcome Neighbor stamp set. Unexpected thank you cards are some of the best cards to send. And who better to thank than all those amazing teachers out there! The Alphabet Window Fancy Die makes it a breeze to create this card perfect for any teacher. I started out by creating a background of color using the new Liquid Watercolors on watercolor paper. I used Strawberry, Dandelion, Moss and Deep...

If you are anything like me you have a stack of panels set aside that maybe didn't work for another card or from technique trials. I have a whole drawer full. They are way to pretty to toss and certainly I'll be able to use them for something, right? Are you with me? Today, I am sharing a great a way to use those panels,...

I kind of have a thing for speech bubbles. Whenever I stamp any critters, I will always look for a way to stick a cute little speech bubble in. The Four Owls stamp set was the starting point for this chatty little card... I stamped the owls in Mulled Wine, one at at time. Between stamping owls, I colored around the first one with Tumbled...

Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share with you using the new Autumn Icons Fancy Dies that were released on Tuesday as a September kit add-on. They are so pretty and I love that they can be used as a focal point on a card or as an embellishment. For my card, I started off by adding some double sided...

One of the new stencils from Hero Arts, the Deco Pattern stencil, has that unique Art Deco look and feel to it and being a big fan of the Art Deco style I couldn’t resist using it to create a stylish Thank You card. I started working on my card by trimming a piece of kraft […]

Finding products that weren’t designed at the same time, but fit together perfectly makes me a little giddy! That is the case with the Thank You Die and Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies. The “thank you” words almost take on a heart shape when stacked on top of each other, so it was a natural fit. I […]

There’s nothing quite like two for one. Two candy bars for the price of one, two donuts for the price of one, two…sorry, I really like my sugar. ;) I also like getting two cards for the effort of one! The “star” (ha, couldn’t help myself) of today’s card set is the Star Confetti Fancy […]

Hero Arts not only has Color Layering floral stamps, but also actual dimensional layering images where each flower layer can be popped up for a raised, one-a-of kind look. Today I’m sharing an in depth look at the new Artistic Dahlia and Large Hydrangea stamps and their corresponding layering dies and showing you how to use these […]

Today I’ve got a simple and fresh card design using the awesome Thank You Messages clear stamp set. These two cards came together in about 30 minutes, which just might be a record for me! I was drawn to the “thanks” banner image, so I looked for a die to stamp it on — turns out that […]

There are certain stamps that are almost maddeningly perfect, and today's featured stamp, Wallpaper Pattern Bold Prints, is just one of those. I had the darnedest time deciding on just how I wanted to showcase it for today - embossed, patterned, watercolored, etc - and in the end, I just decided to add a little ink and water and let the stamp speak for itself....

Hi! Using stencils in my card designs is a fun challenge that I personally love! In particular, some stencils are perfect for creating beautiful background patterns. Today I'm sharing a set of thank you cards with three different, colorful backgrounds that I made with the new, "must-have" Honeycomb Stencil. The possible patterns that can be created with this stencil are virtually limitless.
