Thank You Window Card
Finding products that weren’t designed at the same time, but fit together perfectly makes me a little giddy! That is the case with the Thank You Die and Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies. The “thank you” words almost take on a heart shape when stacked on top of each other, so it was a natural fit.
I started off this card by creating an ink blended background. It has been a while since I’ve done this technique and I almost forgot how much I love it! I used Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks, which blend seamlessly together. Then I flicked some water drops on the paper and blotted them up with a paper towel.
Next, I created my heart window using the Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies. I cut one out of my ink blended background and another from a Snow Folded Card. Then I sandwiched a piece of acetate between the two to create the window.
I die cut my sentiment from white cardstock and heat embossed it with two layers of silver embossing powder to create more dimension. I adhered the die to the inside of my card, making sure it was lined up with the heart window.
I finished off the card with some silver confetti stars, which complement the silver embossed message.
I think a set of these cards in all different colors would make a great gift idea!
a really great idea, and lesson to try out different sets together, it never hurts to try, and sometimes you strike gold!, or silver in this case
Beautiful! Thank ❤️ You!
