Video: Tone-on-Tone Mandala
Hello there, Michelle here and I am back to share a thank you card with you, using the beautiful Mandala Bold Prints, along with a few different shades of blue and green ink.
I created a video tutorial for you which you can view below:
(If you have problems watching the video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube)
I started off by stamping the Mandala Bold Prints onto white cardstock. I used Aegean, Aquatic, Mint Julep, Soft Pool and Pool inks. I used the mini cubes as I found it easier to control where I placed the ink, but the full size ink pads would work well too, you can just use the edge of the ink pad. Once stamped, I then blended ink across the piece using the same shades of ink. This creates the tone-on-tone look.
The panel was cut down using a Nesting Rectangle Infinity Die and then further trimmed down with a guillotine. The panel was added to a black A2 card base with tape runner. I took the 'for everything' sentiment from the Thanks Stamp & Cut set and stamped this on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied Detail White Embossing Powder and heat set. This was then cut down in to a strip using a craft knife and ruler.
I then die cut the thanks die from the set three times from white cardstock with adhesive sheet on the back. These were layered up one on top of the other and added to the card. The sentiment strip was then added below with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few sequins from the Frost Mix.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, happy stamping!

Beautiful card! Thank you for sharing your process!
Lovely. Very useful information.
This turned out to be a lovely card. What is the background stamp or embossing folder called.
I really liked the Mandala print and the several different soft colors blended, very eye appealing.
