April 2020 My Monthly Hero is Here + Giveaway!
Over the past year, our hearts have been heavy while we watched from afar as Australia suffered from devastating bushfires. With Australia on our mind we designed this month's release, paying homage to the fascinating animals, the gorgeous flowers and the beautiful landscape of the land Down Under. As we release this, our hearts are now heavy for a new reason. But we are excited to take you on a much-needed crafty escape to Australia, as we celebrate this amazing country!
Here's a look at this month's kit:
This month’s kit includes:
- 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
- 31 Coordinating Frame Cuts
- 5.25" x 6.5" Sunset Stencil
- Intense Black Ink Pad
- 2 5.5" x 8.5" Cherry Wood Sheets
- 3 5.5" x 8.5" Adhesive-backed Birch Wood Sheets
This kit is valued at $80, but is an incredible deal at $34.99. It is available in limited quantities – grab yours before they are gone!
There are also several optional add-ons. Most can be combined with the kit, or stand alone as great additions to your crafting collection! If you'd like to see a card sample made with any of these products, click the links to view them in our store.
But first, before we get into the stamps and dies, we are introducing a new fundraiser product, We Are In This Together World Enamel Pin. During these difficult times, it's a reminder that we are one world, in this together, and we are stronger when we support one another with friendship and kindness. Hero Arts will donate 100% of net profits from the sale of this pin to support COVID-19 disaster relief.
Now let's return to the Australian inspiration for some stamping goodies! Beach HeroScape and Beach HeroScape Frame Cuts is an addition to our popular line of HeroScapes Color Layering stamps. The inspiration was the Twelve Apostles landmark - you can build that particular scene, or arrange the rocks however you prefer.
It would be difficult to celebrate Australia without a stamp set dedicated to one of its most famous species! Color Layering Joey and Color Layering Joey Frame Cuts make me very hoppy...
While "protea" are actually native to South Africa, it's related to the "waratah" flowering shrub of Australia. Either way, the Protea Flowers stamp set with matching Protea Flowers Frame Cuts are just gorgeous, and will be a lot of fun to color!
Speaking of coloring, who wants to color some more interesting animals from Down Under? For your coloring pleasure, here's the adorable Bandicoot & Friends and matching Bandicoot & Friends Frame Cuts.
Don't want to color? No problem! We have you covered with the Patterned Animals and Patterned Animals Frame Cuts.
You know we love our border window dies, and this month we have another beauty! Nature Border Fancy Die with Frame pairs perfectly with the main kit to enhance your scenes. Or use it with some of the add-ons, or all on its own!
Australia has some amazing beaches for surfing, which inspired this fun die set, Surfs Up Fancy Die Set. (But watch out for the shark!)
These next two wonderful products won't be available just yet. They are Eucalyptus Bold Prints 6x6 cling stamp and Koala on Branch woodblock stamp. Sadly due to the shelter-at-home order in California, we had to shut down our red rubber production facility. But as soon as we are able, we'll have these products available for you!
And one more product before we go - April Word Fancy Die. This is the latest addition to our set of monthly word dies. How cute is that umbrella?
Please note, this month shipping will be delayed. Currently we estimate that shipping will begin April 20. When shopping this release, please keep in mind that right now, with the company under shelter-at-home orders, kits, add-ons, papers and inks ship the quickest. Adding other products to your cart may make your order take longer. Due to logistics, we are not offering the "get them all" option this month. We know you are excited to get your kit and appreciate your patience as we work through delays during this time of COVID-19. We are sending love and support, as well as healing thoughts to those who know people who have fallen sick or are sick themselves.

I think what touches me most is that you would showcase Australia and the loss that they’ve experienced last year and now. I used to collect stuffed koala bears way before we became a global community. So, way to go Hero Arts for touching so many hearts.
