Instructions

  1. Adhere an A2 panel (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) of Fawn cardstock to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
  2. Die cut an A2 panel of Alabaster cardstock with the seed packet die.
  3. Place the Alabaster panel over the card front and trace with seed packet opening with a pencil.
  4. Die cut the seed packet with the thin packet frame die inside out of Fawn cardstock. Set the outer packet frame aside.
  5. Die cut the thin packet frame out of Truffle cardstock.
  6. Adhere the die-cut Alabaster panel, with the Fawn seed packet and the thin Truffle frame onto a clear panel.
  7. With alcohol markers (Copic; C-5 + C-7) create loose stripes over a scrap of Alabaster cardstock.
  8. Die cut approximately 40 sunflower seeds out of the striped Alabaster cardstock.
  9. Adhere pairs of seeds together with striped side of the cardstock facing outward, or in other words backsides together.
  10. Add foam adhesive strips around the traced penciled line to create a shaker well onto the front of the card base.
  11. Fill the shaker well with the die cut sunflower seeds and some chunky iridescent glitter. Leave a few of the seeds out to later use as embellishments.
  12. Add additional foam adhesive around the sides of the card front. Remove the backing on all the foam adhesive then adhere the clear panel + Alabaster panel to card front to seal the shaker well.
  13. Die cut the flap for the seed packet out of Terra Cotta cardstock. Ink-blend the top the flap with Pumpkin Core Ink. Adhere the flap to the card front.
  14. Die cut the tiny heart tag out of Saffron and Rainforest cardstocks. Adhere the Saffron tag and the Rainforest heart to the card front.
  15. Die cut an arched banner out of Tuscan cardstock. Place the banner inside a stamp positioning tool, then with a scrap of acetate over the diecut, position the “kindness” sentiment stamp over the banner, matching its curve. Pick the curved stamp up with your stamp positioning tool and then stamp the banner in INTENS-ified Black Ink.
  16. Die cut the narrow sentiment strip out of Saffron cardstock. Stamp “sprinkle generously” onto the strip in INTENS-ified Black Ink.
  17. Adhere the sentiments to the card front.
  18. Die cut the base layer of petals for three sunflowers out of Tuscan cardstock. Ink-blend over the diecuts with Fawn ink to create a gradation.
  19. Die cut the top layer of petals for the same three sunflowers out of Saffron cardstock. Ink-blend over the diecuts with Spicy Mustard ink to create a gradation. Adhere the top and base petal layers together.
  20. Die cut the bases for the flower centers out of Truffle cardstock then ink-blend over the diecuts with Espresso ink to create a gradation.
  21. Die cut the top layer for the flower centers out of Terra Cotta cardstock then ink-blend over the diecuts with Pumpkin ink to create a gradation. Adhere the top and base for the flower centers to the petals.
  22. Die cut 3 stems and 6 leaves out of Rainforest cardstock. Ink-blend over the diecuts with Pine and Moss ink to create a gradation over the leaves and stems. Adhere the stems to the flowers, then adhere the flowers and the leaves to the card front.
  23. Adhere the saved sunflower seed diecuts to the card front with foam adhesive.
