Video: New Patina Technique Kit
Lydia Fiedler
Hi friends! I'm here today with a card and video using the gorgeous new Patina Technique Kit. Patina effects have been my jam since the late 1900s - I just love the look so very much. There are a variety of ways to get this look while papercrafting, but this kit has everything you need in one spot!
I have about worn my Floral Tile Stencil out - I love it so much - so I chose that as the starting point for this card. I sprayed it with Pixie Spray and put it down on to a kraft card panel sized for a mini-slimline card. I applied the beautiful pigment ink in the kit directly through the stencil - you could also use a brush - but I wanted it sort of distressed looking and not as perfect looking as it would be if I had ink blended it.

Leaving the stencil in place, I selectively sprinkled the bronze embossing powder in the kit around the design. I removed the stencil and heated it. In the video, you'll see my tip for precisely applying embossing powder. Then I used the eclipse technique to finish the card using the Christmas Holidays Stamp & Cut XL.
Here's a closeup of the beautiful bright shine and pretty blue ink.

Enjoy my video of this simple process! Watch below or HERE on YouTube.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Beautiful card., Lydia!
I wondered what this kit was about and love what you did with it. Very interesting and the techniques were really lovely. Thank you.
