Video: Dry Emboss With a Stencil
Natasha Polite
Hi crafty friends! Natasha Polite here sharing a spring themed card that features texture created by embossing a stencil.
(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please watch HERE on YouTube.)
I created A2 card panels using Dove White cardstock. Using the Tulip Pattern Stencils and Reactive inks, I created an ombre of tulips which I die cut using the Tulip Pattern Cover Plate.

I then grabbed the third largest Square Scallop Infinity Die die and die cut that from a second A2 panel, to create a window or Polaroid panel. Grabbing the Butterfly Pattern Stencil, shims, and embossing mat, I created a plate sandwich that would emboss the butterflies onto this second panel. Running that through my die cut machine, I was left with beautiful texture. Using residual ink left on the blending brushes, I created soft rainbow of color on a third card panel.

I added foam tape to the back of my embossed panel and began anchoring tulips and greenery to the bottom of the scalloped square.

Using the Friend Words Fancy Dies, I die cut 'hello' and layered that onto two more white die cuts creating a stack. I adhered that to the bottom right of the card. As a finishing touch, I added clear and translucent purple enamel dots throughout the tulips.
Thank you for joining me today. Happy crafting!

Really pretty! And wonderful instructions!
