You'll learn how to enhance embossed designs with ink for added depth and drama, create unique looks by embossing paper-pieced panels, and add gorgeous shine and dimension with texture mediums. Stamp & Craft Supplies

Card #1: Texture Medium + Embossing Folders

  1. Trim Tuscan cardstock to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2").
  2. Die cut the panel with the 6th largest arched die from the Arches Infinity Die Set.
  3. Spritz the panel with water, place the panel into the embossing folder and then run it through your die-cutting machine.
  4. With your finger rub a small amount of Gold Hero Wax over the embossed panel.
  5. Stamp several images from the When Life Gives You Lemons Stamp & Cut onto white cardstock in INTENS-ified Black Ink.
  6. Color the images with alcohol markers and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
  7. Ink-blend the top third of the an A2 top-folding white card base with Dusty Blue Core Ink.
  8. Stamp a sentiment in Unicorn White Pigment Ink onto Raven cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and then heat set with a heat tool. Die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die.
  9. Adhere the diecut images, sentiment and  the embossed panel to the card front with foam adhesive. 
  10. Apply gold liquid pearls to the embossed design on the panel.

Card #2: Ink + Embossing Folders

  1. Trim Breeze cardstock to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2").
  2. Apply Deep Ocean Core Ink to the recessed side of the embossing folder.
  3. Spritz the Breeze panel with water, place the panel into the embossing folder and then run it through your die-cutting machine.
  4. Die cut the lemon bases out of Beeswax cardstock. Ink-blend half of the lemons with Butter Bar Core Ink.
  5. Die cut the detail layer for the lemons out of Tuscan cardstock and adhere to the lemons.
  6. Die cut two twigs out of Truffle cardstock.
  7. Die cut three leaves out of Rainforest cardstock, then ink-blend the leaves with Pine Core Ink.
  8. Die cut three flowers out of white cardstock. Die cut three flower centers out of Saffron cardstock and adhere to the flowers.
  9. Stamp a sentiment in Unicorn White Pigment Ink onto Raven cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and then heat set with a heat tool. Die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die.
  10. Adhere the diecuts and the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive. 
  11. Add clear enamel dots to the leaves.
  12. Apply Gold Hero Pearls to the flower centers. 

Card #3: Paper Piecing + Embossing Folders

  1. With the Let’s Ride Die Set, create the vespa out of Breeze, Malibu, Raven, White and mirror silver cardstocks.
  2. Create the vespa girl out of Beeswax, Fawn, Truffle, Dahlia, Raven and Oceanside cardstocks. Before adhering the diecuts together, ink-blend the hat with Butter Bar to add dimension. Adhere the girl together and then adhere to the vespa.
  3. Create the basket of lemons out of Beeswax and Fawn cardstocks. Ink-blend the lemons with a Butter Bar to add dimension then adhere the vespa.
  4. Cut five strips ranging from 1"- 0.75" width to about 4.25" in length out of Oceanside, Malibu, Breeze, Peridot, Rainforest and Fern cardstocks.
  5. Adhere the strips to an A2 panel of light-weigh cardstock (65lb).
  6. Trim the striped panel down to 3.5" x 5.75".
  7. With a craft knife cut two slots measuring about 0.25" x 0.75" into the striped panel.
  8. Place two Snap N' Slides inside the slots of the panel.
  9. Double up foam adhesive and adhere to the backside of the panel then adhere the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
  10. Add score tape to the top the Snap N' Slides then adhere the vespa to the slides.
  11. Stamp a sentiment in Unicorn White Pigment Ink onto Raven cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and then heat set with a heat tool. Die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die.
  12. Adhere the sentiment to card front.
