Stamp & Craft Supplies

Instructions

  1. Stamp the balloons and confetti images from the Birthday Icons Stamp & Cut twice to create two sets onto white cardstock in INTENS-ified Black Ink.
  2. Color the images in with alcohol markers. Die cut the images out with the coordinating dies. Add a white gel pen highlight to the balloons.
  3. Die cut the gift box out of Seaside cardstock with the Big Present Die Set.
  4. Die cut the parts to the lid out of Waterfall cardstock.
  5. Cut the top off the box and adhere the lid diecuts to the top. Ink-blend over the box top with Paradise Core Ink and the box with Arctic Core Ink to add depth.
  6. Die cut the ribbon and bow parts out of Beeswax and Saffron cardstocks. Ink-blend over the diecuts with Butter Bar Core Ink to add depth. Adhere the bow layers together and then adhere the ribbon and bow to the box and lid.
  7. Trim the Coral cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5". Stamp over the solid confetti circle over the panel in Creamsicle and Lemon Drop Reactive Inks.
  8. Die cut the panel twice with the larger top ribbon die from the Big Present die set at about 1" and 3" from the bottom of the panel.
  9. Die cut the bottom of the panel and a top-folding card base with a circle with about an 1" diameter to create the pull tab opening.
  10. Cut the cellophane to make a strip that is approximately 1.5" x 6" long.
  11. Feed the cellophane strip through the openings of Coral panel. Use score tape to adhere the cellophane strip together to create a loop, trim off any excess cellophane with scissors.
  12. Trim down the coral cardstock to create a 2" x 3" rectangle.
  13. Line the rectangle with the bottom edge of the Coral panel and then adhere the rectangle with score tape to the top of the cellophane loop on the backside of the panel.
  14. Trim some scrap cardstock to create four 0.5" x 5.5" strips of cardstock. Adhere two strips together, so you end up with a pair.
  15. Adhere the strips to the sides of the card front. Then adhere the Coral panel to the card front.
  16. Trim the Seaside cardstock to create a 2.25" x 3.25" rectangle. Stamp a sentiment onto the rectangle. Adhere the box lid to the rectangle with foam adhesive.
  17. Die cut two small circles approximately 0.5" in diameter out of Seaside cardstock. Glue the lower strings portion of the balloons to the circles.
  18. With a 1/16" circle hole punch, punch two circles into the bottom of the Seaside rectangle (about 1.25" apart) and punch a hole into the reinforced balloon strings of the two balloon diecuts.
  19. Line up the hole punches of one of the balloon diecuts and the hole punches in the rectangle. Feed a brad through the two openings and then fan out the brad prongs. Repeat this process for the second balloon and rectangle hole punch.
  20. Adhere the rectangle with score tape to the bottom of the cellophane loop on the front of the panel.
  21. Adhere the box to the card front with foam adhesive strips. Be sure to place the foam adhesive only along the sides and the bottom of the box.
  22. Die cut three "happy birthday's" out of Carrot cardstock. Ink-blend along the bottom of one of the word diecuts with Papaya Core Ink.
  23. Die cut the shadow layer for the sentiment out of vellum. Adhere the ink-blended word diecuts to the vellum shadow layer.
  24. Adhere the two remaining word diecut layers together. Trim off the top of the "t", "h" and "d" on the stacked "birthday" diecut then adhere the stacked "birthday" and "happy" to the backside of the vellum shadow layer.
  25. Stamp a sub-sentiment in Unicorn Pigment ink onto Raven cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and heat set. Die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die.
  26. Adhere the "happy birthday" to the present. Then adhere the sub-sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.
