Saturdays with Sally - Love You More
Hi friends! I'm so happy to be back for another Saturdays with Sally feature! The stamp I used today - Love You More Than All of the Stars - is the perfect quote for MY house these past two months. My Chicago grandkids have quarantined themselves here and I DO love them more than all the stars!!! I thought I would incorporate a few of our star products to make this card and tag.
I stamped Star Light Star Bright Bold Prints on Paradise cardstock with Aquatic ink. Cut to card size. Cut a white strip for card. Stamp Star Light Star Bright Bold Prints again on Dove White cardstock in Aegean ink. Over stamp the Love You More Than All of the Stars message in Aquatic ink, and die cut with a heart die. Find several scraps of colors you love with contrast and stamp them in coordinating colors with the same background stamp.
Now here was the tricky part. I went to find a star die but couldn’t. No worries for me, I used the two “stars” in Tree Tags Fancy Dies and it matched the background stamp perfectly. Arrange all the cutouts cascading from the heart, and attach them with foam tape and glue. Add Frost sequins for a bit of sparkle.
Need a matching tag? Cut one with the Tag Infinity Dies and shorten it. Stamp the message and edge the bottom with sequins attached with Precision Glue. Add ribbon.
Thanks for joining me today!

Gorgeous card and tag Sally.
I love that you put the sequins on the end of the tag, that’s something to remember.
Glad to read that your grandkids are safe with you.
Thank you so much for the inspiration, stay safe and have a wonderful week.

I love this! The stars make it feel retro. Gotta love how it matched the background on accident …love when that happens. Hey never thought of a “fake shaker” look on the tag.. stealing that for sure! Thanks and please be well!
