We are thrilled to introduce you to another member of the Hero Arts family! There are many people behind the scenes that work hard every day to bring you quality products and inspiration. This is part of a monthly feature so you can get to know them a little better. We call them Hero's Heroes because they are how we do what we do!
Today we are spending some time with Sandy Flores!
I was born in Oakland, Ca. Still living in the Bay Area. With my mom being Filipino (who by the way has been working in production for 20+ years) and my dad Mexican. Getting the families together is always a fun time. Although I don't speak the language fluently. I love learning new things about both cultures and seeing the similarities.
What do you enjoy doing in your personal life?

Sandy looks so fun! I love Layla monkey and mom’s custom Layla socks! What a great feature! Another reason to love hero arts!
What a fun feature on your blog! Sandy, it was wonderful to get to know you. Your little (or rather big) dog is so darling! I enjoyed getting a glimpse of who you are and all that you do for HA. Thanks so much for sharing!
So nice to get to know another Hero Arts team member.
You’re so cool, funky, wonderful, what’s not to love and admire about you! Congrats on the recognition and many blessings to you! From Maryland
So not cue to meet the people behind the stamps, etc. Sounds like you enjoy life and that attitude certainly serves you well at work. Thanks for sharing.
Keep going on with your lovely work with Hero Arts, I loved to read this about you.
Sandy is one of my dearest and greatest friends. I am so happy to see her be acknowledged for the amazing person she is. She is sincerely someone to treasure and I love that this price gave people a chance to learn a little more about her.
Thank you sandy for all you do. Love getting to know everyone at hero art.
It’s always nice to know a little bit more about the team members.
Sandy, this is such a fun and interesting interview. I love the desert too, even the heat. Thank you for sharing yourself with us!
Loved learning all of these new things about you, Sandy! And that photo of you with the Hero sign is the cutest, I love it. My in-laws live near Tucson, love it there. The Desert Museum is fantastic!!!
Sandy, it was wonderful learning about your responsibilities at Hero Arts, your family and your favorite pastimes. Your pictures are awesome and Layla Monkey is adorable! Plus, I love your sock collection – such a cool idea!!
