I Miss You

Apr 15, 2021 Pocono Pam

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here with you today sharing a card I created showcasing the new Flowy Stripes Stencil. This stencil can be layered with various Hero Arts inks to create beautiful designs that will enhance your projects.

For today's card, I thought the stencil would make beautiful background paper.

To create my card, I adhered two opposite sides of the Flowy Stripes Stencil onto a 4 1/4” X 5 1/2” Dove White cardstock panel with masking tape. Using an ink blending brush, I filled in all of the stripes with Thistle Ink. I then removed the tape, moved the stencil up slightly exposing white space and adhered the stencil again. New blending brush in hand, I repeated the blending, with Grape Slush Ink. Once done, I repositioned the stencil and repeated the blending with Bubble Gum Ink.

Next, I cut the panel into 3 strips measuring 1 3/4” X 3 3/4” and and matted them with Lavender cardstock. I adhered the strips to a Dove White A2 top-folding card base, popping the middle one with foam squares for dimension.

To build my card, I used the newly released You Lift Me Up clear stamps and coordinating Frame Cuts sets. I stamped the hot air balloon in both Creamsicle and Lemon Drop Reactive inks onto Dove White cardstock and die cut them. I also die cut two clouds from the set. I adhered all pieces to the card.

Next, I stamped a sentiment from the You Lift Me Up set in Intense Black Ink, trimmed and matted it with Lavender cardstock and adhered it to the card. I added several clear enamel dots to finish.

I had fun creating my card and hope you will give the Flowy Stripes Stencil a try.

Thanks for taking a peek! Have a great rest of your week!

Not tried the Flowy Stripes Stencil. Went to Joanns today & had mot been there in awhile. They had several new Hero Arts stamps, stamp/die & dies. Sign indicated 50% off papercrafting supplies. Scanned the Circle Infinity dies and it indicated full price $19.99. Photographed sign showing the 50% off sign as well as the items. Showed photo to employee at checkout and she gave me the 50% off.
