Ahoy There!
I started off by using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and white embossing powder to heat emboss the wave image three times onto three different colors of cardstock: Paradise, Mist, and Arctic. I also heat embossed the small seahorse onto Papaya cardstock. I die cut the the heat embossed images using the coordinating dies and then set the pieces aside.
Next, I used a blending brush to blend Aquatic Core Ink over the top half of a square of Arctic cardstock. This piece becomes the sky in the finished card. For the card front, I used a die from the Infinity Circles die set to cut a window from a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Dove White cardstock.
To assemble the card, I layered the three wave die cuts over each other and then used glue at the bottom of each die cut to hold them together. I left the top of the die cuts unglued. Then, I glued the waves to the sky panel, again leaving the top of the waves unglued. Next, I used foam tape to adhere the window panel over the ocean scene and then glued the card front to a card base.
To finish, I slid thin pieces of foam tape under the tops of each layer of waves for dimension, added the seahorse with more foam tape, and stamped the sentiment in Onyx Pigment Ink.
Thank you so much for visiting!

This is so good, Seeka! I really like how your beautiful ink blended sky and the colors you used for the waves seem to mimic each other. The dimension is the perfect amount for that sweet seahorse to pop out of the water to say hello. Love it.
