Christmas Amaryllis
My first card uses the Amaryllis die. I die-cut the flowers from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers (R32, R35, R37, R39). For the stem and leaves, I die-cut the pieces of green cardstock and added some shading using Copic markers (G21, G24, G46). I also die-cut the stamen from yellow cardstock and added some red at the base using R32 to give it a peach color for some subtle shading.Watch Susan's Amaryllis assembly video tutorial below or on Spellbinders Youtube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcrCFnEo_4A My background uses the Gilded Nested Rectangle Glimmer Set. I foiled the frame using Polished Brass Foil. Next, I adhered my amaryllis and stamped my sentiment from the Holiday Quotes stamp set in a crisp black ink. I finished by adding some iridescent jewels.
Christmas Cactus
My second card uses the Gathering Basket and Christmas Cactus dies. I die-cut the basket from kraft cardstock and ink-blended it with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoeJx8ll6ps I die-cut my cactus with white cardstock and colored everything using Copic markers (G21, G24, G46, R35, R37, R39).  For the buds, I used Nuvo Crystal Drops in Autumn Red. My background uses the Framed Details Glimmer Hot Foil set. I foiled the frame as well as a sentiment from the Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips set using Polished Brass Foil.Watch Susan's Christmas Cactus assembly video tutorial below or on Spellbinders Youtube Channel:
Poinsettia Wreath
Last but not least, I created a card using a few sets from the Christmas Flora Collection to create a winter wreath. I die-cut the wreath from the Woodland Wreath and Feathered Friends die using kraft cardstock and again, ink-blended it with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink.Watch Susan's Poinsettia assembly video tutorial below or on Spellbinders Youtube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku8AAdC3Gs4 My poinsettia is die-cut from red cardstock, all the foliage from green cardstock, and colored with Copic markers to add shading (G46, YG99, R37, R39). On this card, I used flocking on the pine branches, clear lacquer on the ladybugs, and Nuvo drops on the berries and poinsettia stamen to give it lots of texture and interest. It is framed using the Essentials Glimmer Rectangles.
