"Vintage" Luggage Tag

Good morning! Jess here with a fun way to create a "vintage" luggage tag that you can bring along on your travels!

To start I stamped the From the Vault Travel suitcase onto Dove White cardstock with Intense Black ink and colored it with Copic markers in shades of brown before fussy-cutting it. I also stamped the sentiment from the same set onto Paradise cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a thin label.

Next I used the Ombre Soft Brown to Cup of Joe Ink Pad to stamp several of the wood-mount destination stamps onto a piece of Dove White cardstock. I used Hawaii, Seattle, and San Francisco (three of my favorite places!) but there are lots more to choose from! Then I die-cut the panel with the largest Nesting Tag Infinity Die and blended a little Cup of Joe ink around the edges of the tag. I adhered the suitcase and sentiment with a thin layer of Precision Liquid Glue and then added my contact information to the back of the tag. I ran the tag through my laminator and then trimmed off the excess plastic. If you don't have a laminator you can also find clear luggage tags online and you'd insert your tag into the clear holder. I added a plastic loop to attach it to my luggage and now I'm all ready for a crafty vacation! Where should I go first? ;)

Thanks for stopping! Join us tomorrow for the first look at the June My Monthly Hero kit!

Oh this is so cute, I want to try and make one … where did you get the plastic to tie it to the luggage? Is there a video?
