Video: Peek-a-Boo Valentine's Day Card

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing fun peek-a-boo style interactive Valentine's Day card.

For my card I used the new V-Day Mini Messages and Chocolate Candy Cling stamp and combined them with the Love You Stamp & Cut XL and the Peek-a-Boo Doors Fancy Die.

To make the card, start by stamping the background stamp on Sand cardstock using Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink. Emboss using Detail White Embossing Powder. Once embossed, color the background using colored pencils or any coloring medium of your choice.

Watch the video below or here on YouTube to see how this card came to be.

Die cut using the Peek-a-Boo Doors Fancy Die. Set aside. Use piece of Dove White cardstock that is slightly smaller than A2. Using the Peek-a-Boo die as a guide, stamp the sentiments from the V-Day Mini Messages set using Intens-ified Black Ink. Adhere to the back of the peek-a-boo panel.

Die cut the LOVE sentiment three times from Dove White and once from Peony cardstock. Stack them together and offset the Peony layer slightly to create more dimension.

Adhere to the panel. To finish off the card adhere the entire panel to a Dove White Top Folded Card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!

Thank you for this inspiring video. I love your fun, interactive card!

I love this card!!! Thank you so much for the inspiration and ideas! I looked into buying some of the supplies for making this and was completely discouraged by the prices. But, with an exacto knife and stamps I had on hand I could adapt the card and make something similar for my grandkids. Bottom line, thank you and keep inspiring us!

Such a pretty card. The coloring was outstanding. Colored pencils are still a great medium, especially on the craft cardstock. Thanks for sharing this.

Wonderful surprise peek a boo card. I made a birthday one with Books (Not sure of exact name) Bold Print.
