Video: Graduation Card with Paper Layering Star (+ Stamping Background Tips)
One of my favorite techniques is creating a stamped background using small stamps. It's a great way to get more out of your neglected stamps. And here is what I came up with for today:
To make a graduation card, I started by stamping small images from the following stamp sets: [hero_product_link sku="CL941"], [hero_product_link sku="CL954"], [hero_product_link sku="CL940"] and [hero_product_link sku="CL950"].
I used [hero_product_link sku="DI158"] to create dimensional cut paper design. This die has cut and score lines, allowing you to cut the paper partially so the star can still be attached on the paper.
You can fold back the cut outs to reveal a crafted star, if you want. But I used it in a different way by cutting out every other line using scissors.

This is a video showing you how I created my card. If you are having problems viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.
I'm not a fan of green and blue color combo, but I really love how my card turned out. (Bold Inks used: [hero_product_link sku="AF344"], [hero_product_link sku="AF338"] and [hero_product_link sku="AF341"])
That’s all for today. Hope you loved my card and got some inspiration to try your own. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
