Saturdays with Sally: Oh So Grateful!
I am grateful for every day! So let’s begin by making a seasonal Thanksgiving/Fall grateful card using some watercolors. After all, fall officially started this week!!!
Grab some Luxe Watercolor Paper, a Pitch Black Core Ink pad and the stamps from Grateful Pumpkin. Randomly stamp the leaves, branches and acorns all over the watercolor paper. Let thoroughly dry. Take another piece of paper and stamp extra leaves and branches. When dry, paint with watercolors. You can use the Watercolor Dot Palette or any of the Liquid Watercolors. Try using a Water Flow Brush. It works especially great with the dot palette or any other “dry” cakes of watercolors. Paint a layer and let dry. Add more layers of color for depth.
Take a one inch strip of Hero Hues Cranberry Premium Cardstock and gold emboss the word "grateful". Add a gold dot with Gold Hero Pearls. Adhere to front of card. Die cut a few leaves and branches. Mount onto card with foam tape. Mount the flat card onto a folded white or colored card base.
Don’t forget, if you are adventurous, go pick some leaves and paint them. Press the paper on top of them and apply pressure. You can do this in lieu of stamps!!
Happy weekend!! Go play!!

Gorgeous autumn card, Sally! Another great example of using the little images in a set to create a stunning background, plus leafy cluster for your sentiment. Love it!!

Lovely card! I really like the grateful word stamp, too.
