Reactive & Glimmer Metallic Ink Videos

Hi everyone, it's Libby popping in today. A few months ago, I had the honor of visiting the studio at Scrapbook.com headquarters in Arizona.

While there I filmed three technique videos which are now available on the Scrapbook.com YouTube channel. We thought you might like to take a look!

The first video is an introduction to Reactive Inks. I shared how to blend them and spritz with water, how to ink up die cuts like those from the Watering Can and Flowers Fancy Die, and a different way to pair them up with the Spring Sprigs Stencil.

For this next card, I talked about the Reactive Ink Reinkers. I showed how to apply the reinkers to an ink pad, and then showed how to paint with them like watercolors. I created a background wash of color, and then the Earth Nature Fancy Die was the perfect canvas for my watercoloring.

I also did a video about Glimmer Metallic Inks, where I swatched them out (they are soooo pretty on black cardstock!), painted on another die cut, and shared a fun background technique, combining them with the Triangle Tapestry Bold Prints.
