Penguin Tag and Card in One
Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a card featuring two new dies – the Small Penguin Tag Fancy Die along with the Snow Globe Window Fancy Die. The penguin tag can be pulled out of this card and used separately!
I started by using a large Blending Brush to blend Aquatic Core Ink over a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Arctic cardstock. I concentrated the color at the top of the panel and let it fade out towards the bottom. Then I positioned the Sprinkled Dots Stencil over the panel and used a palette knife to spread a thin layer of Glitter Hero Paste over the stencil and onto the background. I removed the stencil, set aside the panel to dry, and quickly cleaned the palette knife and stencil before the paste dried.
Next, I die cut the penguin twice, once from Pitch Black cardstock and once from Dove White cardstock. I made two small cuts in the white penguin to cut out his inner layer and then glued that layer onto the black penguin. Using black and orange markers, I colored in his beak and then set the penguin aside.
I die cut the snow globe from a metallic silver cardstock and then used foam tape to adhere it to the dry background panel.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Cozy Penguin stamp set onto a strip of cardstock and used scissors and a hole punch to turn it into a little flag that I tied to the penguin with a piece of silvery twine.
To assemble the card, I positioned the penguin and sentiment over the background and used a little bit of low tack tape to secure the end of the twine to the back of the panel. The tape strip runs horizontally so that the twine is easy to pull straight out from the top of the panel. Then I glued the panel to a card base, making sure not to accidentally glue the twine to the back of the panel.
Thank you so much for visiting!

I love this card as I adore Penquins! I like your blending and now I have to have the globe die and the snow stencil.
