Video: Shaker Card with Ombre Stamped Background

Happy Monday! It's May here with a fun shaker card featuring the Fresh Herbs Stamp Set, Thanks Stamp & Cut, and Champagne Sequin Mix

I made a video tutorial to show you how to make this card from start to finish. You can watch it above or in HD on YouTube

I started by ink blending the colors using Pink to Red Ombre InkCotton Candy Ink, and Strawberry Bold Ink on an A2 size white panel with a mini blending tool.

Then I die cut the heart shape out of the inked panel using the die from the Nesting Hearts Inifinity Die Set.

Next, I stamped the images from the Fresh Herbs stamp set with the same inks. I added the dash lines along the heart border to add some interest.

I cut out a sheet of Acetate smaller than my card panel but large enough to cover my heart window. Then I glued a piece of acetate sheet down on the back of my stamped panel and mounted a piece of gold glitter paper onto an A2 size top folding white card base using glue tape.

After trimming 3M foam tape into a strip and attaching it along the heart window and on the back of my stamped panel, I placed Champagne Sequin Mix over my card base and mounted my stamped panel over the gold card base.

I die cut the word thanks from the Thanks Stamp & Cut 7 times out of white cardstock and mounted them together to make it thick using a glue pen. Then adhered the die cut word in the middle of my shaker window using a glue pen.

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Thanks Stamp & Cut with White Detail Embossing Powder on a piece of black cardstock and trimmed my sentiment into a thin strip using a craft knife and ruler.

Then I mounted the sentiment strip banner below my die cut word using 3M foam tape. I applied some dots on my background using white Nuvo drops to finish off my card.

That's all for today. Thank you for stopping by. Happy crafting!
