Now let's take a look at the project Janette created with this month's kit!

Hello, my friends! Hero Arts has outdone themselves with this month's rad Holiday kit. It's retro style is super fun and the fonts are totally on point. I've had so many ideas I have created several cards. I can't wait to get in there to create even more. So awesome!

Begin by creating background on an A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") Dove White cardstock panel. Mask to create roadway and blend with Intensi-fied Black and Soft Granite inks. Mask hills (freehanded) and ink blend with Soft Sky. Mask to leave just the sky exposed and blend with Soft Sky, Indigo and Navy inks.

Stamp images on Hero's Dove White cardstock in Intens-ified Black and color with Copic markers. Die cut all images. Mask to add a few gifts to be seen in the backseat.

Dust ink blended sky with anti-static powder and then White Detail heat emboss sentiment. Arrange all die cuts and then use Press N' Seal to keep them all together as it is lifted and turned over. Add dimensional adhesive to the back of arrangement. Then adhere in place and remove Press N' Seal. Add a touch of Precision Glue behind any die cut that is not adhered solidly. Combine a drop or two of water and a drop of white acrylic paint and splatter all over card for a snowy look. I find a toothbrush gives the finest flakes!
