Now let's take a look at a project Janette created with this month's kit!

Ummm, I may have audibly squealed when I opened up this month's kit. No may... I did! You guys, this kit is so fun! I adore that it can be solidly used throughout the year. I send far more cards to crafty friends than I do anyone else, so this kit, and the awesome add-ons, are going to remain staples in my arsenal for a long while!

Crafting and rainbows seem to go hand in hand. Both bring me joy and make my soul smile. Today's project features the kit included heart shaped yarn ball and knitting needle dies. I am an obsessive crafter. I make cards, obviously, but I also love to sew clothing, quilt, knit, bead and basically to anything craft related to avoid all the boring and mundane tasks that life insists on. I am proud to admit I am a full fledged member of the Procraftinator Club! This kit totally has me covered!

Create this card by ink blending Ultra Pink, Lemon Yellow, Aegean, and Orchid Hero Arts inks on Dove White cardstock. The overlap in ink blending provides the secondary colors. Die cut the heart yarn ball into the rainbow panel and again into Dove White cardstock. Generously coat an A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") Dove White cardstock panel with dry tape adhesive and adhere rainbow panel. Nest white die cut heart right into place. Then fit the negative rainbow pieces into the heart.

Use a craft knife to make a couple of small slits on either side, and within, the heart to poke the Copic colored (C0, C2) Pebble cardstock knitting needles through. Snip the needles in two to create additional length. Heat emboss white sentiment onto Pitch Black cardstock, trim, and pop in place with dimensional adhesive. Complete by adding finished panel to a folded card base, and Voila!

Our amazing Creative Team as well as some crafty friends are hopping today to help us introduce this release. Please be sure to visit all of their blogs – and leave a comment at every stop along the way. One reader will be randomly selected to receive a free May kit (or reimbursement if you have already purchased your kit!)
