March 2020 My Monthly Hero is Here + Giveaway!
We're celebrating the coming of spring with an explosion of blossoms and color!
Japan is the inspiration for the HeroScape in this month's kit, which features a serene zen garden and flowering cherry tree, complete with pagodas. Included in the kit are the perfect inks for stamping your scene, as well as a selection of our Hero Hues Premium Cardstock. And how about a little puffy pink embossing powder to accent your trees? HeroScapes incorporate the Color Layering technique of using clear stamps to overlay one image on top of another, using different inks, in order to bring out a fully realized dramatic landscape scene.
This month’s kit includes:
- 6" x 8" Clear Stamp Set
- 5 Coordinating Frame Cuts
- 5 Ink Cubes (Green Hills, Field Greens, Dusty Blue, Rose Madder, Cotton Candy)
- 6 5.5"x 8.5" Sheets of Cardstock (2 each of Peony, Kiwi and Mist)
- Pink Puff Embossing Powder 0.5 oz.

Let's begin with some gorgeous new ink! Did you know we introduced a new line of pigment ink pads with our 2020 Catalog? This month we're expanding the collection to include a beautiful shade of pink, Hero Hues Rose Quartz Pigment Pad, inspired by the cherry blossoms.
There are three must-have red rubber cling background stamps this month. Our Bold Prints measure 6" x 6", and make a great background on your projects, or even the focal point! They are, from left to right: Parasol Pattern Bold Prints, Waves and Clouds Bold Prints and Koi Pond Bold Prints.
Next, we're moving on to the 4" x 6" clear stamp sets this month. If you love the flower aspect of the main kit, this first stamp set is a more detailed cherry blossom option - Dreams Will Blossom and the matching Dreams Will Blossom Frame Cuts.
The Tranquility stamp set has great messages combined with wonderful imagery, and will bring a bit of calm and peace into your stamping.
And now for a cuteness alert!! Kittens in Kimonos and Kittens in Kimonos Frame Cuts are too adorable for words.
Sushi, anyone? Let the good times "roll" with Soy Awesome and Soy Awesome Frame Cuts.
Speaking of bringing calm - that is literally one of the messages in the Zen Messages set. These would be fantastic paired with the Bold Prints shown above!
On point with the theme of the main kit, Cherry Blossom Fancy Dies creates a beautifully die cut blooming branch. Inking up the blossoms with our Rose Quartz Pigment Pad would be perfect!
Flame Dragon is a fabulously dramatic stamp for your woodblock collection. It's also great for those sometimes more-difficult-to-make masculine cards!
And finally, continuing our collection of monthly dies for 2020, we have the March Word Fancy Die. (In case you've missed it, there's also January and February!)

Disappointed the whole package of add-ons sold out that fast. If i I’m going to spend a large amount of money just to get three or four add-ons, I probably would have been interested in getting the whole package. And not sure if the add-ons ever end up online separately after the kids are sold out or not. Overall, very pretty set-can’t wait to get it.
