Now let's take a look at some projects Janette created with this month's kit!
After the cold and wet winter many of us have been experiencing, I am sure this month's kit has more than just myself dreaming of the tropics and the deep blue sea!
Create this project by ink blending a scant 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Dove White cardstock panel with the kit included Water Reactive Inks in Blue Water for the top half and Sea Glass at the bottom.
Mask sun rays and ink blend with kit included Water Reactive Sea Salt to brighten area. I masked one ray at a time with Avery Removable Labels, peeked to check lightness and then moved to the next. Once all rays were complete, I sprinkled panel with water and allowed it to dry as I moved to the next step.
I stamped several of the silhouette style sea images in various Ombre Inks to liven them up. (No line stamping would be a fun technique with silhouette images too! Just stamp in a very light ink color and use the border as a guideline to fill in the image.) Stamp urchin and sentiment in Black Dye Ink and die cut all images. Circle sentiment with Nesting Circle Infinity Dies. Stamp diver directly onto panel in Soft Granite.
Precision Glue images and sentiment to panel, and panel to card base with dimensional adhesive. Apply a few kit included droplets below jellyfish to imply movement.
