June My Monthly Hero is Here! + a Giveaway!

We are excited to bring you the launch of the June My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons! We hope that you have enjoyed the Countdown posts with creations from our Creative Team. They sure had fun using the kit! At the end of this post you will find links to a blog hop that will provide plenty of inspiration using this month’s kit and add-ons.

It’s time for a safari with this month’s June My Monthly Hero Kit! The stamp set has the animals you would see on that safari, trees, and sentiments. You can easily create beautiful scenes with the coordinating dies. A Fancy Die is included to create a gorgeous Serengeti sunset. Using the stencil, you can create a dramatic tribal feeling. We have also included ink cubes, metallic and cork papers, and black embossing powder.

This month’s kit contents include:

     1 6″ x 8″ clear stamp set
     9 coordinating Frame Cuts
     1 Fancy Die
3 ink cubes (Just Rust, Mulled Wine, Moss)
     0.5 oz. black embossing powder
     2 4″ x “6”  Portuguese eco-friendly cork sheets
2 sheets of  5.5″ x 8.5″ metallic bronze paper (81 lb. text weight)
2 sheets of 5.5″ x 8.5″ metallic quartz cardstock (105 lb. cover weight)

This kit is an incredible deal with so many goodies in it that the value is $73 but the cost to you is $34.99.

We also have some complementary, optional add-on products this month – 2 Color Layering stamp sets with coordinating Frame Cuts, 1 clear stamp set, 2 Bold Prints cling background stamps, 2 dies, 1 stencil, 1 wood mounted stamp and 1 ombré ink pad. They work beautifully with the kit products or alone.

First we have the Color Layering  Bengal Tigers stamp set and coordinating Frame Cuts set. You will be amazed at how realistic these tigers look when stamped!

Next up is a Color Layering Brave Lion stamp set and coordinating Frame Cuts. The king of the jungle never looked so good as these will when stamped!

Next up is the Thorn Tree and Grasses Fancy Die. This will go perfectly with any of the animals in this release and will bring any scene to life.

The Go On a Safari stamp set offers wonderful images that will be fun to color and will help create the perfect card for anyone who loves the outdoors or camping.

How about a Tent Fancy Die to make a 3-dimensional tent?

Next up is the Tribal Shapes stencil.  This will allow you to create a stunning background with a tribal feel.

Our first cling background stamp is the Mud Cloth Bold Print.

The Tribal Stripes Bold Print is another stunning pattern to create interesting and creative backgrounds. Amy used this stamp to create a beautiful tone on tone background.

The I Got Your Back stamp is a wood mounted option that would make the perfect encouragement card.

Last but not least is the Ombré Serengeti Sunset ink pad. These colors are perfect to create the color of the amazing sunsets that you can find in the Serengeti.

If you’d like to purchase all of the add-ons, check out our new “get it all” add-on bundle! You’ll save over 10% and receive all 12 of this month’s add-on products.

We are happy to have Jayne join us today to show us a stunning card that she created.

Jayne: To make my card, I created a card base with one sheet of the beautiful, white cardstock included in the kit. Next, I trimmed a panel of gray cardstock and stamped a few bird and tree images, with Charcoal ink, onto two opposite corners. Before securing the panel to the card, I added partial green circles, cut with the Circle Infinity Dies, to the other two corners. To create the center circle, I cut two sunsets, using the kit’s sunset die, one from a piece of poppy layering paper and another from a piece of the kit’s white cardstock. Using a sponge dauber, I applied Just Rust ink, also in the kit, to half of the poppy sunset die cut.

I used a Circle Infinity Die to cut a frame around the negative sunset space in the white cardstock. Then, I inlaid the inked sunset die cut into the white sunset frame, securing it with tape on the back. I stamped a few, small birds and a black sentiment directly onto the sunset panel. After securing the sunset to the card, I added a stamped and die cut hippo and tree to the sunset.  I finished the card with some Ombre Green and Ombre Sunshine sequins, plus a small bow at the card’s edge.

Thank you Jayne!

I’m never knew about your monthly kits & I have seen a lot of cards made w/past kits. It’s just a shame that you cannot buy some of those items that were in prior kits for people like me that were not aware of the monthly kits.
