Monthly Feature: Meet Hero's Heroes!
Today we are excited to introduce you to another member of the Hero Arts family. In this feature we show you the people behind the scenes who work hard to bring you quality products and inspiration. We call them Hero's Heroes because they are how we do what we do!
Meet Emily Bernardo, a valuable member of our production team who has been with us for nearly 30 years.
What do you do for Hero Arts, how long have you been here?
I am a set assembler and also assemble clings and die kits. I have been working at Hero Arts since 1989.
What are 3 words to describe Hero Arts?
It is like a family; generous, and stress free!
Where are you from originally? Family?
I am originally from the Philippines. I have two sons, a granddaughter, and a fur baby girl named Cookie.
What do you enjoy doing? Hobbies?
I enjoy spending time with my family and my Amiga Gerls, there is a picture of all of us together. I also enjoy cleaning the house.
What is the kindest thing someone has done for you?
My family is always there for me and each other so it’s hard to think of one specific event.
Favorite quote?
“Try and try, until you succeed.”
Office nickname?
“Lele”
Best vacation?
My best vacation was to Hawaii to visit my grand baby Sophie!
Who would you interview?
If I could interview anyone, I would like to interview my grandma.
What would you save in a fire?
I would save my family pictures because they’re irreplaceable.
