Happy Halloween Neon Ghosts Card
Today I am starting the month featuring a cute Stamp & Cut set called [hero_product_link sku="DC189" text="Boo"] which is just right to create cards and other paper crafts for the Halloween festivities. To make the cute ghosts images look bright and happy, I paired them with my favorite neon Ombré ink colors.
Normally I would use a darker background color for a Halloween card, but this time I thought that a plain white card would be a good fit to showcase these fun ghosts. I started my project by adding decorative tape onto the right side of a [hero_product_link sku="PS566" text="Snow Folded Card"]. Then, I used a little bit of neon ink daubers to make sprinkles over the card front.
Tip: tap the dauber's cotton tip over an acrylic block and use a thin brush to pick up the ink color from it.
I stamped the ghosts images with Ombré Inks: [hero_product_link sku="AF329" text="Neon Chartreuse to Blue"], [hero_product_link sku="AF330" text="Neon Red to Purple"], [hero_product_link sku="AF328" text="Neon Yellow to Orange"]. I also stamped their eyes and mouths with [hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black"] ink. After that, I die cut the images with their matching frames ( I love that this fun set comes with two coordinating ghost shaped dies).
Additionally, I white-embossed the sentiment over a strip of Black Layering paper. Once I had all those elements ready, I arranged and adhered them over the card with foam tape. To finish off my card I added some gemstones from my stash.
That's all from me today, I hope you feel inspired to start creating your Halloween cards soon. Thanks for joining me today!
