Happy Glittery Holidays
Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here today sharing a card I created showcasing the Happy Holidays Cover Plate. This sturdy 4.25” x 5.5” metal die, paired with your favorite Hero Arts cardstock and embellishments, is perfect for making quick cards to share with friends, neighbors and loved ones.
I love glittery holiday cards!!! Today, I chose to use black glitter paper from Glitter Paper Basics. The smooth finish does not flake or crack, making it ideal for card making and paper crafts.
To create my card, I die-cut the Happy Holidays Cover Plate three times from Dove White cardstock. Be sure the save the letters for later projects. Stack and adhere the negative die-cuts.
Next, I die-cut the Cover Plate again in Black Glitter Paper - removing the letters - and adhered it to the Dove White cardstock stack slightly off-setting it to allow a bit of white to peek through.
I slightly trimmed the sides and adhered the panel to a Paradise A2 card base. I wanted a bit of the blue to peek through.
To give the card additional sparkle, I added more glitter of course! Using Silver Glitter Paper, I die-cut the three smallest stars several times from the 5-Point Stars Infinity Die Set and adhered them randomly to the card panel.
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Wonderful use of the cover plate die with sparkle and color peeking out behind. Inspired me to try.
