Friends Stick Together
Did you see all the amazing May add-on products that were released yesterday? Fabulous stuff! As soon as I got these products in the mail, the housework got put on the back burner because I just had create with them right away. The card I'm sharing with you today uses the adorable Stick Together Stamp & Cut.
I started out by stamping the glue, tape and washi tape images on watercolor paper and heat embossed them using Gold Embossing Powder. I used my favorite new Hero Hues Reactive Inks to watercolor the images. These inks will debut in our 2019 Summer Catalog and will be available for purchase in the Hero Arts online shop on May 22nd. HERE is the sneak peek we showed of these inks on the blog a couple weeks ago. They are so much fun!
Next, I die-cut a white frame using the Wood Frame Infinity Dies. For the middle of the frame, I stamped the sentiment with black ink and a few of the other "sticky" images in the stamp set with gray ink. I assembled the frame and all the pieces using foam adhesive and so it would be ready to put on my card.
The card base is made from Pebble Cardstock (THE perfect gray) and the blue layer behind the frame is Arctic Cardstock.
As a finishing touch, I added a sprinkling of sequins from the Champagne Sequin Mix.
Happy crafting!
Wonderful card! :)
