Hi, Friends! It's Caly with you today sharing a card made using the April My Monthly Hero Kit! The kit is die-focused to create an Italian scene and it can change with the different elements that are available and I hope my take on this card inspires you!
You can create your Italian scene with a variety of mediums and colors. Today, I'm focusing on a more realistic view (from what I imagine) with more neutral colors.
I've ink-blended each of my panels today. You can ink-blend after die-cutting also, but for my pieces, I ink-blended before color so the edges show no harsh ink coverage.
These are the following ink colors that I used for my card:
I hope you enjoyed my take on this Italian scene. There will be more on Monday's blog hop and I can't wait to share that with you also!
Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, April 1, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
Nice scene on your wonderful card :)
Beautiful card. I love the ink blending and the black sentiment tying in with the border. Although the theme is Italy, the building, clothesline and die-cut sea could be used in so many ways.
Wow…this card looks awesome….I like the pre ink technique you used so that no harsh lines are seen….waiting to own this die n use
Wow! I love Italy and you’ve captured it beautifuly!
Beautiful scene. My neighbor last night was talking about how her husband trimmed the trees and now she can see her neighbors clothes line from her deck. Thinking she would not mind it so much if it was this view.
