Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I'm thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again!

I created three floral cards using the Through into the Meadow Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn, incorporating vivid colors.
First, I cut the white card stock at 4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches embossed with the collection's Wildly Beautiful 3D embossing folder.
I die-cut the Spiderworts on Lilac Blossom, Purple Mist Color, and Steam card stock, the leaves on Peridot card stock, and the stamen on Saffron card stock.
I color-shaded each piece of the flowers, stem, and leaves with blending brushes.
I also die-cut the vase from the Ceramic Vases dies on white card stock and colored it with blending blush in Sparkled egg distress oxide ink.
To provide more details about the flowers, I used makers to draw lines. I hot foiled on black card stock with the Through the Meadow Sentiments Betterpress plate and die-cut it with the coordinated die. Attach the sentiment with the foam stickers.
I used white hot foil to hot-foil the Happy Birthday letter plate from the Sweeping Celebration Sentiments Betterpress plate on Royal Amethyst card stock.
I die-cut the daisy flowers from white cardstock and colored them with a blending brush using Raspberry Bliss ink.
The daisy stamen features three different colors. I die-cut the stamens in plum, mahogany, and persimmon. I attached the plum pieces on the outside, filling the center with mahogany. The persimmon piece is positioned between the plum and mahogany pieces.
I made two of the daisies with the same steps.
I created a background frame by die-cutting an arch using the Arch Labels and tag die on Lagoon-colored cardstock. Then, I color-shaded the edges.
I used foam stickers to attach the frame part, creating a layered effect. I glued the die-cut arch into the arch frame.
I blend colors of persimmon, Clementine, and marigold ink on white cardstock using blending brushes, then die-cut the milkweed flowers from the blended colors.
I used the stern die from the Spiderwort die set to cut out the leaves from the milkweed die set. To prevent damage during mailing, I attached the flowers inside the arch. I used the sentiments from the Through the Meadow BetterPress plate to heat-emboss the text in gold onto black cardstock.
I finished it with opal gems on the card.
Creating the flowers wasn’t easy; it took a lot of patience, but I really enjoying to create them.
