Hello, crafty friends! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m super excited to be joining you on the Spellbinders blog today! I’m sharing three cards today featuring the Tabbed Classics Collection! Designed by Wendy Vecchi! There are so many ways to use this collection!! I kept the color combination similar and focused on the different ways to combine the elements from the collection.
HAPPY TO CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY
I began by die-cutting the large floral bouquet and the largest single flower from white cardstock using the Thank You Bouquet 3D Floral & Stencil Bundle. I lined up the die-cuts in the embossing folder and ran them through my Platinum 6 with the adapter plate. Next, I lined up the die-cuts with the stencil and added color with blending brushes using Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, and Black Soot Distress Inks.
For the background, I used the Linear Touch Rectangles and Tags Die Set. The second largest die was cut from white cardstock, and the largest die from Tutu. The white die-cut was embossed with the Polka Dot & Posy Duo 3D Embossing Folder. I love that you can use one side or the other or a combination of both! I lined the rectangle die-cut up in the center so I had the dots on the top and the posies on the bottom. The layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue. The bouquet was adhered with liquid glue, and the large flower was popped up with foam squares.
The sentiment, from the Tabbed In & Out Sentiments Stamp & Die Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink. Once dry, it was cut out with the coordinating die and adhered with foamsquares, and this card was finished.
Liquid glue, 80 & 110 lb. white cardstock, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Black Soot Distress Inks, Versamark, white detail embossing powder
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Happy crafting!
