Rainbows and Shine with the Shine Bright Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Shine Bright Collection by Carissa Wiley. This is such a fun collection featuring disco balls and amazing sentiments. I paired this up with the Silver Assortment Treasured Cardstock Pack for some bright and shiny cards.
When I use press plate or glimmer sentiments, I usually create all of them multiple times. For these instructions I’ve said to create the sentiment but usually, I had the sentiments ready to go.
Using the Layered Disco Impressions Stencil Set, stencil each image with a rainbow of ink colors. Cut out with coordinating die from Disco Impressions BetterPress Plates.
Attach metallic thread to top of each disco ball with strong adhesive tape or thin foam squares then attach them overlapping with thin foam squares or liquid glue where needed.
Adhere sentiment with thin foam squares. If it hangs off die cuts add a second layer of foam squares.
Rotate glimmer plate and repeat of other half of panel. Hot foil the individual sparkles as well.
Blend a rainbow of ink on the hot foiled panel. Wipe ink gently off foil.
Die cut the largest of the Disco Balls Etched Dies from Silver Matte Cardstock And just the outline from Silver Glitter Cardstock. Adhere together offset.
Die cut the sparkles from the Disco BallsEtched Dies out of Silver Glitter Cardstock.
Hot foil the sentiment from Sparkle On Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set on Black Cardstock using Prism Hot Foil Roll. Cut out with coordinating die.
Adhere silver metallic thread to back of disco ball with a thin foam square then adhere disco ball to inked panel. Adhere thread to back of panel.
Add sentiment with liquid glue and thin foam squares where needed.
Adhere panel to A2 card base and add sparkles throughout.
