Melissa Phillips here with you again today using more gorgeous 3-D Vignettes Dies from Becca Feeken. I can't say enough about how much fun these intricate dies are to create with.
I wanted to create a casual yet elegant card using the 3-D Vignette dies today, so I selected patterned paper that has the look of textured, blue, ticking fabric. I combined it with the Tiara Rondelle dies and love the look! It's fun to see how these dies take on different personalities based on what type of medium/pattern you choose to use them with. I used this die again to create corners for my card, cutting them from a solid dark aqua cardstock.
I selected a pale blue paper for the center of my Tiara Rondelle die, and used this die one more time to cut a center for my frame. Next came the fun part…embellishing with more dies!
The Petite Double Bow die was used to create the darling bow at the top of my frame, cut using the same paper as my frame. This die is such a fun one…for all of you who love bows out there just as much as I do.
Lastly, I used the Cinch and Go Etched Flowers III dies to create my layered flowers and vines. I cut them from coordinating patterned paper as well and love how they turned out. Such a simple die with detailed results!
