You're Womb-Tastic!
Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share with you using the new Bandicoot & Friends set. This is such a fun set filed with critters that are native to Australia and the surrounding areas.
For my card today, I thought I would use the wombat image. He looks so cute but I am not sure whether they are actually cute in real-life or not! I stamped the wombat from the Bandicoot & Friends set on to white cardstock with Intens-ified Black Ink. I then coloured him using Copic Markers and cut him out using the Bandicoot & Friends Frame Dies. He was then set aside while I worked on my background.
I took the Eucalyptus Bold Prints and stamped it on to Hero Hues Dove White Premium Cardstock using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Using a blending brush, I applied Key Lime Fizz Reactive Ink to the top of the panel and Green Apple Reactive Ink to the bottom, blending in the middle.
The piece was cut down and added to a top folding card base with tape runner. I then added a strip of Hero Hues Pitch Black Premium Cardstock at the top. I took the sentiment from the set (two individual stamps) and stamped them on to the top portion of the card base with more Intens-ified Black Ink. The wombat was then added on top with foam tape.
Have you checked out our Stay Crafty with Hero Weekly Challenge this week? The challenge is to create a card for yourself using your favourite things or favourite techniques. I used one of my favourite techniques on this card - ink blending/emboss resist ink blending. I hope you will be able to play along to show us what your favourites are. Thanks so much for stopping by today, take care!

Hi Michelle, Wombats are cute in real life, especially when they are little, they follow their Mum’s around and in the case of babies found in their injured Mum’s pouches follow their human ‘Mum’ around. Wombats are nocturnal and are sadly hit by cars/trucks. Love the wombat with the all over eucalyptus blossom stamp. Thank you for the inspiration, Happy Easter… Megan
Gorgeous card Michelle. I love the beautiful background you created.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay save and have a wonderful Easter weekend.
So cute! tfs-stay healthy.
