Video: Using Hero Transfers Over Ink Blended Background
Hi everyone! Ilina here! Have you had a chance yet to play with Hero Transfers? They are super fun, easy to work with, and the results are amazing.
For today's card I am using the new Collage Backgrounds Hero Transfers added to an ink blended background. This set of rub-ons contains five different full-sheet backgrounds. (Note: we expect this item to be back in stock soon. Enter your email in the "notify me" box here to find out the moment it's back in the shop!)
To make the card start by ink blending an A2 piece of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock using Berry Smoothie, Taffy and Creamsicle Reactive inks and the Large Ink Blending Brushes. Once you are satisfied with the results, die cut one of the arches from the new Arches Infinity Dies set. (I used the 5th to the largest one.)
Cut a piece of one of the Hero Transfers (I used the handwritten one) and apply over the ink blended arch.
Watch the video below to see how this card came to be or click HERE to watch on YouTube.)
Once you have applied the Hero Transfers you can use a sanding block to remove any of the excess that might have remained around the edges.
Next, die cut the smaller butterfly from the Delicate Butterfly Fancy Die set from Pitch Black cardstock. Adhere to the arch.
Stamp sentiment from Friendly Messages using Unicorn Pigment ink, emboss in white and die cut using the coordinating dies.
Using foam tape, adhere the message to the arch. Add Neutral Enamel Dots on the butterfly and around it (black on the butterfly, white around to create contrast).
Cut a piece of Pitch Black cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and use foam tape adhere the arch piece. Now adhere the entire panel to a Top Folded Dove White Card. Your card is finished!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
