Video: Shaker Card with the June My Monthly Hero Kit
Hello friends! It's Channin here and today I’m creating a clean and simple shaker card with the June 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit. In today’s video I will demonstrate how to turn a stamped image into a shaker using the matching die and the fun clay sprinkles all included in the kit!
(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)
To create this card I first used my MISTI to stamp a couple of images from the kit’s stamp set in INTENS-ified Black Ink onto Dove White cardstock. I then Copic colored my images and die cut them out with the matching dies.
Next, I die the balloons out of an A2 panel of Dove White cardstock. I then stamped a sentiment onto the front of the panel in INTENS-ified Black Ink. Next, I placed the panel over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base and then glued the Copic colored balloons inside the opening. I then removed the panel and created a well around the balloons with foam adhesive.
Next, I added more foam adhesive to the card front to support the panel and set the card base aside. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the backside of the die cut panel. Next, I filled the shaker well with the clay sprinkles and adhered the panel over the card front. I finished the card by adhering the cat to the card front with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!

So cute! Love the kitty holding the balloons. You colored him similar to my Rascal George. Thanks for showing us this wonderful shaker card.

Your shaker is pawstively cute. I’d like to see a photo of during & after the foam adhesive is added before the card is sealed up to see how creative you were with the foam around the balloon shapes.
