Video: Personalized Unicorn Birthday Card
Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing this week's video over on the Hero Arts YouTube Channel. For today's project, I've combined the new Banner Letterset Dies with the new Decorate A Cake stamps and some older standalone Fancy Dies to create this adorable little card for my daughter's BFF! Here's the video:
In case you can't watch the video above, click HERE to watch in HD on YouTube.
I began by stamping the unicorn cake pieces from Decorate A Cake using Intens-ified Black Ink onto some Copic-friendly white cardstock. I then used my Copic markers in a variety of pinks and purples to create this sweet, ultra-girly birthday cake! I die cut it with the coordinating Frame Cuts.
For the card base, I blended a bit of Rose Madder ink on an A2 Peony card base using a blending brush. I adhered an Amethyst Marquee Frame Fancy Die die cut on the card base using foam adhesive, as well as some Decorative Edge Banner die cuts, cut from Azalea and Lavender cardstocks. I added the unicorn cake, glittering "Lettie" banner cut from the Banner Letterset Dies, and a sentiment from Create A Cake using foam adhesive for a super dimensional, extra festive finish!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Such an adorable card! I really like the fact that you used elements from previous MMH releases and would like to see more examples in the future of combining kits.
