Video: Lemonade the Heck out of Those Lemons
Hi everyone, Ilina here. Today I am sharing a card and video featuring the Lemonade Message wood block stamp. I thought this stamp (and message) coordinated perfectly with the Fresh Citrus Bold Prints.
Watch the video below to see how this card came to be. Or click HERE to watch on YouTube.
To make the card start by stamping the Bold Prints image onto Pitch Black cardstock using Embossing and Watermark ink. Once stamped, emboss with Ultra fine clear embossing powder. I love the look of the clear embossing on black cardstock, as it gives it texture and doesn't distract from the focal point of the card. I used the MISTI to stamp the background and while I had the MISTI out I decided to make two cards at once.
Next stamp the Lemonade Message using Intens-ified Black ink on Dove White cardstock. Die cut with the Square Infinity Dies. Die cut a coordinating square mat from vellum. Using alcohol-based markers, color the images on the sentiment and apply Lemon Drop Reactive ink around the corners using a blending brush or any other blending tool.
Assemble the panel. Adhere using fun foam or foam tape to a note card you have created from Canary cardstock. Add Sunset enamel dots to finish off the card.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!

This made me laugh, as I have a big lemon tree in my yard and our neighbor does too—his lemons fall into my yard. We drink lemon water daily, last year my “dessert” of the season was lemon meringue pie, I made for all occasions and dinners with friends. This year, no lemon pie because no friends/family gatherings.
