Vellum Thinking of You Cards
There's no better time than now to send happy mail and let loved ones know you're thinking about them. We're all in this together, and staying connected will help us get through difficult days.
Today I'm sharing two cards that are quick and easy to create, and perfect for sending thoughtful greetings. I was inspired by our current Never-Seen-Ink Challenge to use products that hadn't yet made it out of their packages. In fact, ALL of the stamps and dies on these cards were fresh out of the package, despite being some of my favorites from the 2020 Catalog. Safe to say...it was time! :)
I started by stamping the Circle Pattern Bold Prints background onto a panel of Dove White cardstock, using Berry Smoothie and Pool Party Reactive Inks. I cut a piece of vellum the same size as the panel and adhered it on top (just along the edges), to soften the image a bit. I love this "frosted" look and use it often on backgrounds.
Next, I die cut the largest frame from the Wood Frame Infinity Dies set and adhered it over the vellum. The adhesive that was previously showing through the vellum? Covered!
To create the greeting, I scribbled various colors of ZIG Clean Color brush markers onto a piece of watercolor paper and blended with water. Once the piece was dry, I die cut it with the Thinking of You Stamp & Cut. I cut the greeting three more times from white cardstock and stacked them together, for a bit of extra dimension. There are several stamps with coordinating messages in the Thinking of You Stamp & Cut, and those were perfect for finishing the greeting. I stamped them onto strips using the same inks as the backgrounds - Berry Smoothie and Pool Party.
A few Icicle Sequins and Clear Enamel Dots complete the cards.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you find joy in creating and sending happy mail this week. Take care!

Really like those cards, Tami. I never think of coloring die cut greetings, shame on me!
