Win a Sold Out Kit! Favorites from the Vault Giveaway #3

Hero Arts

Happy Saturday! We're back with our third and final Favorites from the Vault giveaway opportunity!

During a recent warehouse cleaning session, we were happily surprised to find some hidden treasures -- a handful of past kit items. We gathered every last piece from a few select kits, and now you have a chance to win some SOLD OUT My Monthly Hero kit products!

We may have saved the best for last. You decide...

Who remembers the very FIRST My Monthly Hero kit? The month, October...the year, 2015. Who also remembers how quickly that kit sold out? (Back then, there were no My Monthly Hero subscriptions offered.) The beautiful color layered poinsettias came onto the scene and were a smashing hit right out of the gate -- so much so, that the kit sold out in just a few hours and our website experienced some hiccups due to the heavy traffic. We've learned and grown since then, but will never forget the excitement and joy of that very first kit. It holds a special place in our hearts as we now celebrate the MMH program's 5th anniversary with you.

As the ultimate throwback, today we have 5 sets of stamps and dies from the October 2015 kit to give away to 5 lucky winners!

TO ENTER: Comment on this blog post and let us know one piece of stamping wisdom that you wish you'd known when you started stamping! The entry deadline is Thursday, October 29 at 11:59pm PT. We will announce the 5 randomly chosen winners here on the blog.

Now we get to announce the winners from last weekend's Favorites from the Vault giveaway!

The 5 randomly chosen winners will each receive stamps and dies from the sold out October 2018 kit:

• Stephanie Benoit
• Julia Dvorak
• Mary Gilmer
• Tracy Kent
• Sandy Koca

Congratulations to all! Please send an email to info@heroarts.com to claim your prizes and include "Vault Winner" in the subject line.

Last but not least, we want to remind you that time is running out on our classic kits sale. Celebrate 5 years of My Monthly Hero with $5 off a fabulous selection of classic kits, while supplies last! The sale price ($29.99) is reflected automatically in your shopping cart -- no code needed. This offer expires October 31. Check out all eight of the classic kits on sale here.

Thanks for stopping by and celebrating our anniversary with us. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Knowing the different properties of inks and how that makes them perform. Would’ve waited for due inks to dry instead of thinking my inking technique was wrong!!!!

Happy Dance to all winners! Yeah

When I first started stamping, there was no Pinterest, no Instagram, no blogs, no cell phones, no email…heck there wasn’t even an internet..at least not one that people widely used. Yep, call me old school! What piece of stamping wisdom do I wish I knew then? Hmmm…. I guess that you don’t have to strive for perfection. Just dive in there, make a mess, get creative, there are no mistakes (they are just learning opportunities)and above all….HAVE FUN!!! It’s amazing how much this applies to today’s generation of stampers as well.

Something I have learned along the way, been nice to have known beforehand, when first using stamps that if you use an embossing/clear ink before a colored ink- not only will it stamp nicer/fuller; but also will come clean easier (not as much staining)
    Best of luck stampers!

I wish I’d know I was going to need a lot more
space for all the stamps, dies, inks……..
Have one room and it’s spilling over into
another – but it’s worth it. I have so much
fun making cards and other crafts – especially
    during this pandemic. txmlhl(at)yahoo(dot)com
