Win a Sold Out Kit! Favorites from the Vault Giveaway #3

Hero Arts

Happy Saturday! We're back with our third and final Favorites from the Vault giveaway opportunity!

During a recent warehouse cleaning session, we were happily surprised to find some hidden treasures -- a handful of past kit items. We gathered every last piece from a few select kits, and now you have a chance to win some SOLD OUT My Monthly Hero kit products!

We may have saved the best for last. You decide...

Who remembers the very FIRST My Monthly Hero kit? The month, October...the year, 2015. Who also remembers how quickly that kit sold out? (Back then, there were no My Monthly Hero subscriptions offered.) The beautiful color layered poinsettias came onto the scene and were a smashing hit right out of the gate -- so much so, that the kit sold out in just a few hours and our website experienced some hiccups due to the heavy traffic. We've learned and grown since then, but will never forget the excitement and joy of that very first kit. It holds a special place in our hearts as we now celebrate the MMH program's 5th anniversary with you.

As the ultimate throwback, today we have 5 sets of stamps and dies from the October 2015 kit to give away to 5 lucky winners!

TO ENTER: Comment on this blog post and let us know one piece of stamping wisdom that you wish you'd known when you started stamping! The entry deadline is Thursday, October 29 at 11:59pm PT. We will announce the 5 randomly chosen winners here on the blog.

Now we get to announce the winners from last weekend's Favorites from the Vault giveaway!

The 5 randomly chosen winners will each receive stamps and dies from the sold out October 2018 kit:

• Stephanie Benoit
• Julia Dvorak
• Mary Gilmer
• Tracy Kent
• Sandy Koca

Congratulations to all! Please send an email to info@heroarts.com to claim your prizes and include "Vault Winner" in the subject line.

Last but not least, we want to remind you that time is running out on our classic kits sale. Celebrate 5 years of My Monthly Hero with $5 off a fabulous selection of classic kits, while supplies last! The sale price ($29.99) is reflected automatically in your shopping cart -- no code needed. This offer expires October 31. Check out all eight of the classic kits on sale here.

Oh gosh there have been so many lessons for me lol. But if I had to choose one, the importance of choosing the correct cardstock! With zero knowledge and no one to help me, I set off on a quest. Literally hundreds of dollars and many “last” nerves tweaked lol I slowly but surely found my way. There are many good products and sadly many poor one. I have navigated my way right to my favorite place, I call my “home” of stamping. None other than our family company Hero Art! Thank u always! May I also add. For beginners watch out for the company’s that “steal” and sell junk. That will quickly turn u off of paper crafting!

Love this! This is everything a kit should be…great coordinating pieces, beautiful colors, perfect stamp & dies.
In the beginning, I wish I would have known that just staring is the best thing you can do. Just start. You can’t find your way, your technique, your creativity, your preferences or improve on any of them if you don’t first start. I kept watching videos, and reading blogs, and waiting until I had some specific product…procrastinating when I could have been hands on learning.

There have been so many wonderful kits. I started making cards five years ago but before that I had many Hero Arts wooden/red rubber stamps as did crafts. They are still going strong and love the products. I am on a fixed income so have to pick and choose so can’t always buy everything that I love. Thanks for being such a great company for so many years.

I have to second (or third or fourth) the invention of stamping tools like the MISTI. Game changer! So much less stressful!

When I first started using “Color Layering” Stamp’s, I wish I would have known that it is easier to die cut the piece out first, then lay the piece back into the card stock you cut it from, then do the stamping. Much easier to line up.
