Win a Sold Out Kit! Favorites from the Vault Giveaway #3

Hero Arts

Happy Saturday! We're back with our third and final Favorites from the Vault giveaway opportunity!

During a recent warehouse cleaning session, we were happily surprised to find some hidden treasures -- a handful of past kit items. We gathered every last piece from a few select kits, and now you have a chance to win some SOLD OUT My Monthly Hero kit products!

We may have saved the best for last. You decide...

Who remembers the very FIRST My Monthly Hero kit? The month, October...the year, 2015. Who also remembers how quickly that kit sold out? (Back then, there were no My Monthly Hero subscriptions offered.) The beautiful color layered poinsettias came onto the scene and were a smashing hit right out of the gate -- so much so, that the kit sold out in just a few hours and our website experienced some hiccups due to the heavy traffic. We've learned and grown since then, but will never forget the excitement and joy of that very first kit. It holds a special place in our hearts as we now celebrate the MMH program's 5th anniversary with you.

As the ultimate throwback, today we have 5 sets of stamps and dies from the October 2015 kit to give away to 5 lucky winners!

TO ENTER: Comment on this blog post and let us know one piece of stamping wisdom that you wish you'd known when you started stamping! The entry deadline is Thursday, October 29 at 11:59pm PT. We will announce the 5 randomly chosen winners here on the blog.

Now we get to announce the winners from last weekend's Favorites from the Vault giveaway!

The 5 randomly chosen winners will each receive stamps and dies from the sold out October 2018 kit:

• Stephanie Benoit
• Julia Dvorak
• Mary Gilmer
• Tracy Kent
• Sandy Koca

Congratulations to all! Please send an email to info@heroarts.com to claim your prizes and include "Vault Winner" in the subject line.

Last but not least, we want to remind you that time is running out on our classic kits sale. Celebrate 5 years of My Monthly Hero with $5 off a fabulous selection of classic kits, while supplies last! The sale price ($29.99) is reflected automatically in your shopping cart -- no code needed. This offer expires October 31. Check out all eight of the classic kits on sale here.

Thanks for stopping by and celebrating our anniversary with us. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

I wish I would have known the differences in inks. I actually used a basic black ink on a circle of wood and other media and it bled all over everything. I quit stamping; and then learned about StazOnInks and the differences between alcohol, water based and pigment inks. I always have to stumble before I perfect it which always caused me a lot of waste.
Thanks so much for being so generous. I LOVE your products!!!

I am still learning. I read some of the other comments and it is consoling to see other people made the same mistakes. I definitely would have liked to know better about paper, how much the quality matters – and what you want to use it for. And the differences of inks, what ink to use with what coloring. And simply just how to press and ink a stamp (There was a video with Tim Holtz joking “you don’t need to give a cpr” and I blushed watching it, guess why ;-) ). I had to improve my english (I am german) to get more out of you tube videos (without them I probably would have stopped anyway, they help so much, but most are english). And about cutting devices. I wasted so much money on these. What I still find difficult, is not to get overwhelmed by the mass of products that are in the market. Therefore I am glad I found a great company like yours, great quality and you answer questions to your products. I just got the poinsettia christmas tree so this old kit would fit percectly.

I wish I would known that the type of cardstock used for stamping matters.

    1. I wish I would have known about Hero Arts. The quality of the products and design are very nice.
I’d spent thousands of dollars on items such as these, but not quite as much fun.

I wish I had known my Tonic Stamp Platform was available to do better stamping with because I have severe RA in my hands and always had a hard time gettinga good impression!
