Support Ukraine Fundraising Effort + Blog Hop
We're here today with a special post and blog hop. Like many, we are saddened and appalled by what is happening in Ukraine, and wanted to do what we could to help. We have gathered together a group of products from our line that we feel symbolize Ukraine.
The blue and yellow of the Ukraine flag symbolize the beauty and calm of the skies above and the joy and prosperity of wheat fields throughout the country. The national flower, the sunflower, symbolizes motherhood. To honor Ukraine, and help counter the devastation and destruction, we are donating 100% of our net profits from sales of this Support Ukraine collection. Funds will be donated to the Ukrainian Red Cross for immediate, on-the-ground help. We will continue our fundraising efforts to also support the long-term rebuilding that will be required to restore schools, roads, homes, and the spirit of the Ukrainian people.
In addition to the existing products, we've also created a digital download file. When purchased, this Giving Sunflower digital stamp set will be emailed to you as a printable PDF document. There will be two sets of the images and messages when you print it out on your printer.
Like many of you, we have a special connection to Ukraine. Our talented friend Yana Smakula, who we are all thinking about, was part of our Creative Team for many years. She is in our hearts and in our prayers. Support Yana through her blog and YouTube channel, and watch for updates from her on Instagram.
Yana did a Color Layering YouTube series for us as well. Here is her video featuring the Sunflower Field HeroScape, which is part of our Support Ukraine collection.
Our Creative Team members are also sharing projects today, honoring both Yana and Ukraine. Before we hop along to them, we have a project from Kelly.
I'm featuring the beautiful Tall Wheat wood stamp on my card today. I started by watercoloring a light blue background, then gold heat embossed the wheat image over the top. I also added some sun rays using Hero Paste and the Sun Background Stencil. I diecut a heart using the Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies and used the Dandelion ink direct to paper to make it yellow. The sentiment is from the Message Strips Stamp & Cut XL, which has a message for any occasion. This yellow and blue color combo is so beautiful and one I plan on creating with more!
Now let's see what our team is sharing today!

Hero Arts has always been such a generous and compassionate country. Thank you for giving us and opportunity to help the people of Ukraine. I was never a fan of sunflowers so I had not purchased this Heroscape set. Now, however, my feelings toward sunflowers has changed dramatically and I am looking forward to receiving my stamps so I can begin making blue and yellow cards with sunflowers. My heart goes out to all the people of Ukraine. Like many others I have followed Yana for years and pray that she and her family will be safe. I pray for all of Ukraine. I pray for peace and for Ukraine to once again be filled with fields of wheat and sunflowers.

We all are also grateful to Yana Smakula for so much inspiration and cheerfulness over the years. Thanks to her and to you, and our large and giving community. If the full force of our love can reach out and help the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦 🌻🇺🇦, we would have peace.
