Two-for-One Cards with the Floral Wreath Fancy Die
Hi everyone! Charlene here. Today, I'm excited to share two stunning card creations using the Floral Wreath Fancy Die and other fantastic products from Hero Arts. These cards showcase the versatility of the die and the beauty of metallic sprays, sequins, and layering.
To start, I sprayed a piece of Luxe White Watercolor Paper with a gradient of metallic sprays – Blue + Shimmer Tone-on-Tone Metallic Spray, Green + Shimmer Tone-on-Tone Metallic Spray, and Ocean Blue + Gold Two-Tone Metallic Spray. Once dry, I die-cut the Floral Wreath Fancy Die from the panel. I also die-cut the wreath from Luxe White Watercolor Paper and Classic Vellum Layering Paper.
Next, I glued the negative of the sprayed and colored panel to a piece of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. Then, I adhered the white die cut wreath to the opening, leaving some areas unglued to create a 3D effect. I added iridescent sequins from the Icicle Sequins Mix and a sentiment from the Breath of Spring HeroScape Bundle, stamped in Intens-ified Black Ink. Finally, I adhered the entire piece to an A2-sized card base.
For the second card, I started by stamping a sentiment from the Breath of Spring HeroScape Bundle onto a panel of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock using Nautical Core Ink. Then, I glued the vellum wreath to the panel, followed by the sprayed and colored wreath. I offset the wreaths slightly to create a layered effect and added white and iridescent sequins. Finally, I adhered the entire piece to an A2-sized card base.
These two cards showcase the beauty of the Floral Wreath Fancy Die and the versatility of Hero Arts' products. By experimenting with metallic sprays, layering, and sequins, you can create stunning, one-of-a-kind cards. I hope this inspires you to try new techniques and combinations in your own crafting journey! Happy crafting!
