The Cutest Little Birthday Mouse
Hi there! I hope everybody had a very happy holiday with your loved ones. Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some non-holiday inspiration (I feel like I've been making holiday cards for forever haha)! I have a sweet little birthday card to share with you today using an older, but absolutely darling, stamp set: Mouse Tea Party. Let's get started with the details!
I began by stamping the sweet little mouse and his party accoutrements from Mouse Tea Party using Intens-ified Black Ink on some white Copic-friendly cardstock. I then used Copic markers in a cheerful red, blue, and light gray color scheme to color each of the images, finally die cutting them with the coordinating Frame Cuts.
Next, I die cut a rectangular frame using the Wood Frame Infinity Dies from some Pebble cardstock. I trimmed a panel of Periwinkle A2 cardstock, then used a blender brush to add some Dusty Blue ink on the card base in the approximate area in which I planned to build my little framed scene.
I adhered the die cuts to the ink blended background panel using foam adhesive, adding a sentiment strip stamped from the Mouse Tea Party set, as well. The final touch was to fill in some of the holes in the visual cascade using a white gel pen.
Well, that's all for my project today! I hope you enjoyed this foray back into normalcy after the red-and-green happiness of the holidays! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!
Very cute card and fabulous colors
