Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero: November Challenge

Nov 11, 2022 Michelle Lupton

Welcome back, everyone! The Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero November challenge is here! The theme this month is "The Great Outdoors". You could interpret this in a number of different ways. Maybe you could depict an outdoors scene on your card? Or you could have a window or a door on your card? Or you could say that anything from nature represents the great outdoors – I predict lots of floral cards!

Please remember that the Holiday Cheer Card Drive is still going! Click HERE for complete details and mail your cards into Hero Arts to arrive by November 18. All cards will be donated to Bay Area Rescue Mission in December.

Here's some inspiration from our design team.

Now it's your turn – how will you interpret the challenge theme? Use the InLinkz tool right at the bottom of this post to link up your newly created card, and you will be entered into our draw. We will be giving a $50 gift card randomly to one person who plays along, and another $50 gift card to one of our favourites!

To link up your new project that fits the challenge theme, you need to share it publicly somewhere you can grab the link – this can be your blog, Instagram, a Flickr account – anywhere that allows you to have a URL or website location to link up, and where we can see your post.

We would love for you to use your favorite Hero Arts products, but all projects that fit the theme can be entered and will be included in the draw – finding joy in crafting is what's important! Entries must be submitted by December 4th at 5:00pm PT to be eligible for the giveaway. Scroll down to find the linkup! If you share your project on social media, we'd like you to use the #heroarts and #staycraftychallenge hashtags, please!

We love leaving comments on your entries, but sometimes that is not possible. Please be assured that we have visited each of your posts, whether it be a blog, Instagram, Flickr or somewhere else, but some platforms may limit comments or only allow comments from members.

Enter our contest by linking your new project below! Please enter your name in the caption area. By linking your project, you are giving us permission to feature your card on our blog, social media or newsletter, crediting you as the artist.

In October, our challenge theme was "Merry Everything", and your entries definitely put us all in a festive mood!

Our random winner of a $50 Hero Arts voucher is Becca Yahrling with this super cute snowman!

Our Design Team favourite winner of a $50 Hero Arts voucher is Michelle Woerner, who used the Paper Layering Poinsettias dies on this pretty-in-pink card!

Please email us at info@heroarts.com with "Stay Crafty Challenge Winner" in the subject to claim your prize.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
