SQUIRREL!
I've been hand feeding a squirrel named Clarence since March! And as it turns out, Clarence is a girl, and had two babies in the spring, who I also feed now! Clarence is the sweetest little squirrel, and sits right next to me to eat her little peanuts every day.
So I'm bringing you an ADORABLE little Christmas Squirrel today! I used the gorgeous new Branches Infinity Dies with a little twist.
When I got these dies - I did not cut them apart, and I don't for most dies, unless they're nested - that way every time I cut, I get extras!
So after I cut it out of Pitch Black cardstock, I separated the inner and outer branches, and put some temporary adhesive on the inner branch piece, and adhered that to my card front. I used a Blending Brush and Soft Granite Ink to create a wintery background for my squirrel.
I then adhered the black frame around my scene, and that's it! One tip when using these dies - it really helps to take the time to put adhesive on all the little branches if you want them to lay flat, but - it's also fun to leave some loose for a more 3D card.
I love how the negative space left by the die cut gives it a frosty feel.
II hope you are having a great week so far! Thanks for stopping by!

That is a great squirrel story. When I was growing up we fed the squirrels by hand, too. Thank you for the tips on using the branch die, I love the way they look.
