Can it be time to think about Christmas already? YES!! I decided to try out my giant Christmas Word Fancy Die with a few other Hero products, for a quick and easy idea for my holiday cards.
First I used a Kraft notecard as my base. Then I inked up Sugar and Spice Bold Prints in Fresh Lawn ink and stamped it onto a Snow Layering Paper panel for my background. I cut a strip of patterned red paper from my stash for the bottom. Next I die cut the Christmas Word Fancy Die from some sparkly red card stock. I had a green die cut piece from Cut-Out Holidays Fancy Die leftover from a previous stamping adventure, so I cut it apart for just the "Happy". Next, I wanted a little embellishment for my card. Here's a tip - look at your matching dies and see if any would work on their own! There's a cute litte tree in the Santa Snacks Stamp & Cut that would normally be used to cut out the stamped tree cookie, but it works great here all on its own! I arranged all of the die cut pieces on the card until I approved. I used a little foam tape under the tree for a tiny bit of dimension, glued the words and added a heart gem for love.
Thanks for stopping by,
I love using only die cuts to make cards. So easy and yet still a very lovely card that makes an impact. I love your card for that exact reason and the little strip of red patterned paper is a perfect touch! Thanks for sharing!
